Investment Criteria

The Aruba Growth Fund will seek to invest in well-established, high quality businesses characterized by: (i) proven and sustainable earnings, cash flows and returns, (ii) (potential) market leadership in attractive niches, (iii) sustainable competitive advantages, (iv) (potentially) strong management teams, and (v) clear exit potential. The fund will also consider investments in (i) renewable energy projects, (ii) public private partnership projects and enterprises, (iii) other venture capital (all three provided they are based on proven technology and business models) and (iv) distressed/turnaround situations. Investments in real estate are not part of the fund’s mandate.

Because of the fund’s size, typical investments will have a minimum value of AWG 5 million over time. This means that the fund focuses on medium- and large size companies, and not on small businesses.
