Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort & Casino

As of July 15, 2015, the Aruba Growth Fund became a shareholder of Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort & Casino (Hilton Aruba), the first high-rise hotel in Aruba, that was designed by famed architect Morris Lapidus, a renowned architect of famous hotels in Miami and the Metropolitan in New York. During 2016 an extensive renovation of most parts of the hotel took place, bringing its appearance and facilities to a new and much higher level, while bringing back many references to the property's important and glamorous past.

As a result of the investments made and the efforts of the new hotel manager, Hilton, the hotel was recognized with the coveted 2018 Hotel of the year Award at Hilton’s Americas Leadership Conference hosted in Orlando, Florida. The hotel took home a first-place ranking among the Americas portfolio of full-service managed hotels ranging in size from 351 to 750 rooms.

Hilton Aruba also received the area’s 2018 Most-Improved Profitability Award as well as a special recognition for landing the number one rating in full-service category.

The Aruba Growth Fund and its experienced international partners will continue to work side by side with the Hotel Management to continuously improve the hotels' services and performance.
